Brian H. Merrick (he/him) is a Film/TV editor who got his start in film at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas before moving to the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, CA where he received his Masters in Fine Arts with a focus on Editing. He has worked on a variety of different projects ranging from TV shows, short and feature length films to documentaries as well as commercials and music videos.

Brian has served as editor in four (4) feature films – The Fabulous Filipino Brothers which screened at SXSW, Empty By Design, closing night film of the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, 10 Days (For Now) and 2 Little Monsters as well as an editor and co-editor for the series Nancy Drew on the CW. He has been the editor on a number of short films that have screened at film festivals such as Inside Out in Toronto, Maryland Film Festival, Bend Film Festival in Oregon, and San Diego Filipino Film Festival winning two audience awards. The latest short film, i’m in love with edgar allan poe, was also part of the Queer Rhapsody series that screened at The American Cinematheque.

He was the Assistant Editor on films - Axis directed by Aisha Tyler and Saint Judy which stars Michelle Monaghan as well as TV Shows - Lucifer on Netflix and Nancy Drew on the CW.
